Q: What is the difference between your
virtual tours and the 360 degree virtual tours?
A: Our virtual tours are more like an actual tour; we guide the viewer
through the property in general and focus attention on its highlights
and features. The 360 degree virtual tours are grouped images stitched
together making one big panoramic image and leaving it up to the viewer
to recognize and focus in on features in an unfamiliar property.
Q: Which virtual tour is better?
A: It depends on your preference and what information you're looking
to advertise. We obviously prefer ours over 360 degree tours simply
because our tours are created not only to provide information, but for
your viewing pleasure as well. One disadvantage of the 360 degree tours
is that the room proportions can be distorted, giving the viewer an
inaccurate impression of the homes layout.
Q: If I want a room to be shot that's
not included in the package, will you shoot it?
A: Due to possible time limitations or other factors, this is at photographer's
discretion. Normally, we will be glad to upgrade your package. If agent
is not present and the owner requests us to shoot other features of
listing that are not included in package, we will usually do so and
will then call the agent and inform them of the owners request. If agent
would like to upgrade package we will be happy to do so, if not, then
we will proceed with the package they ordered.
Q: Do you alter the image if needed?
A: We ask that the agent or owner make sure property is camera ready
when we get there. If there is anything that the agent or owner does
not want in the tour, please make sure to resolve it or ask photographer
not to shoot it. Other than that, we will do basic lighting and color
correction if needed. We do this for the agents, owners, and our protection
as we do not want to misrepresent the listing.
Q: Do you shoot night photos?
A: Yes, our night photos are some of our best work. There is an additional
charge for night shots.
Q: Do you shoot when it rains?
A: Normally, we do not shoot when it rains due to the potential damage
to photographic equipment and because the quality of the photos is diminished.
Q: Do you shoot commercial property as
well?
A: Yes! We shoot residential, commercial, and land.
Q: What is the turnaround time?
A: Considering the amount of effort we put into the tour we safely say
3 to 5 days; but we always aim to get it finished as soon as possible.
Q: Do we schedule with our clients or
do you?
A: If you provide us the owners contact information we would be glad
to schedule the tour for you, however, if information is not provided
we will call you to schedule.
Q: Does agent or owner have to be present
while tour is being photographed?
A: Due to safety and liability concerns, Interior Media STRONGLY recommends
that either the Agent, an authorized representative appointed by the
Agent, or the homeowner attend the shoot. Please allow yourself a window
of 20 minutes to an hour, depending on package ordered. Interior Media
cannot be held responsible for any incident that may occur.
Q: When you provide me with the link,
what do I do with it?
A: We provide you with two virtual tour links. One generic for the MLS,
and the other links to a page that also provides agent information with
an agent photo, and company logo. This link can be posted anywhere that
allows you to advertise your services. We do not limit how many times
you can use these links.
Q: Why don't you post my virtual tour
on the MLS?
A: We provide help including tutorials making it easy to do yourself
and without having to give out your password. Just email or give us
a call if you need help.
Q: Do you post my tour on realtor.com?
A: Yes we are proud to post your virtual tour on Realtor.com for a nominal fee.
Q: How long will you host my tour?
A: Until either listing sells, cancels or one year from posting date.
Q: Do I get copies of the photos that
you shoot?
A: Yes, we make the photos used in your tour available to download with
all of our packages.
Q: What are the Mini CD's for?
A: The Mini CD's are a great marketing tool used for various purposes.
Leave some at the listing so potential buyers can take the house with
them and show it to family and friends, keep some with you to hand out
with your business card when you come across a potential buyer, or give
them to other agents so they can preview the home. Don't forget to keep
extras to include in your listing presentations!
Q: How do Mini CD's work, do you need
any special equipment?
A: Mini CD's can be used just like full sized CDR's, potential buyers
can insert them into their CD-ROM drive to view the tour of your listing.
Q: What is the cut off for cancellations?
A: Cancellations are accepted up to 5:00pm the business day before appointment
time without charge, otherwise; a $25.00 fee will apply.
